The loss included an accounting charge of about $34 billion, reflecting an increase in the value of financing that could eventually be turned into Anthropic's shares, the news agency said, citing the company's documents. Though Anthropic's revenue surged 12-fold in 2025 to almost $4.6 billion, operating loss came in at over $8 billion, excluding certain fundraising-related write-downs, the news report said.
