Sangoma Technologies Agrees to $204 Million Acquisition by BRC Group

08:20 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sangoma Technologies (STC.TO, SANG) agreed to be acquired by BRC Group (RILY) in a deal valued at about $204 million on an enterprise-value basis, the company said in a statement late Monday. The company's shareholders will receive, in exchange for each Sangoma share held, $4.925 in cash and 0.04767 of a share of common stock of BRC, it said. Sangoma will operate as part of BRC Telecom, a portfolio of communications businesses backed by BRC, upon the closing of the deal. The deal is expected to close no later than early 2027, subject to some approvals. US-listed shares of Sangoma were last seen up 39% at $5.00 in pre-market trading.
