CANADA FX DEBT - Canadian dollar weakens, benchmark yield slips
Reuters2026/09/29 13:00The Canadian dollar weakened against the greenback on Tuesday, and the yield on benchmark government debt slipped.
The loonie CAD= was trading 0.1% lower at C$1.4182 to the greenback, or 70.51 U.S. cents, after trading in a range of 1.4166 to 1.4201.
Canadian government 10-year bond yields CA10YT=RR fell 0.9 basis points to 3.958%. The yield on similar U.S. government benchmark debt fell to 5.2299%.
U.S. November crude CLc1 futures fell $1.87 to $90.73 a barrel on Tuesday.
