09:02 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were edging higher premarket Tuesday, with the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) advancing by 0.2%. The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 0.6% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.5% lower. KKR (KKR) and RWE have teamed up to submit a non-binding bid for Germany's state-owned Uniper, Bloomberg reported, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter. Shares of KKR were 0.3% higher pre-bell.
