Alaska Air Introduces New Premium Cabins for Alaska, Hawaiian Airlines

09:17 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Alaska Air (ALK) has unveiled new premium travel options for Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, including Aurora and Leihoku suites, the company said Tuesday. The new options include 34 lie-flat Aurora suites on all widebody Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights and on select transcontinental flights in first class on the 737-10 MAX aircraft in 2028 for Alaska Airlines, the company said. Hawaiian Airlines' Airbus A330 fleet will receive redesigned Leihoku suites and new interiors beginning 2028, the company said. Alaska Air also plans to introduce Premium Reserve, a new premium economy cabin, on Alaska's 787 and select 737-10 MAX aircraft and Hawaiian's A330 fleet. The company also said it plans new dedicated lounges in Seattle and Honolulu as part of the broader premium travel investment. Shares of Alaska Air were 1% higher in Tuesday premarket activity.
