Metallus Awarded $995 Million Defense Steel Supply Contract

10:11 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Metallus (MTUS) said Tuesday it was awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a maximum ceiling of $995 million from the US Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency for the supply of steel for critical defense applications. The contract has a five-year ordering period, and Metallus said it has already received an initial delivery order valued at about $125 million.
