NexMetals lifts Selebi Main inferred resource 72% to 32.47 Mt at 1.53% Cu, 0.98% Ni
Bitget2026/10/01 11:05- NexMetals reported a 2026 inferred mineral resource estimate for Selebi Main in Botswana of 32.47 million tonnes at 1.53% copper, 0.98% nickel.
- Total tonnage rose 72% from the Selebi Main portion of the 2024 estimate; contained copper increased 55% to 495,400 tonnes.
- Contained nickel climbed 91% to 316,800 tonnes; cobalt was added to the estimate at 16,200 tonnes contained.
- The company put Selebi Main at 1,772 million pounds copper-equivalent; most tonnage growth was attributed to Flexure Zone drilling.
- A separate Selebi North resource estimate remains in progress; a NI 43-101 technical report is due within 45 days.
