- ** Drug developer Evommune (EVMN.N) saw its stock price rise 4.9% in pre-market trading to $8.67

** The company announced that its experimental injectable drug EVO301 met the primary endpoint in a mid-stage clinical trial involving 70 adult patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (commonly known as eczema)

** Reportedly, patients treated with EVO301 experienced an average reduction of 55% in severity and extent of eczema after 12 weeks, compared to only 22% in the placebo group

** About 29% of patients in the EVO301 group achieved at least a 75% improvement in eczema severity, while only 9% of the placebo group reached this level

** Dosing occurred twice during the trial: at the start and four weeks later; after the final dose, efficacy continued to improve over the following eight weeks

** 10.4% of patients in the EVO301 group reported treatment-related side effects, compared to 13.6% in the placebo group; no serious or severe treatment-related side effects were reported

** As of the previous trading day's closing, EVMN has declined 51.8% so far this year
