Dark Defender’s Message for XRP Traders: Flight X589 Departed At $0.98
Crypto analyst Dark Defender has been tracking XRP’s price action, and his latest chart tells a structured story. The asset departed from $0.98. It has since moved through a series of Elliott Wave formations that the analyst says signal a significant climb ahead.
The Journey So Far
XRP’s August breakout launched what Dark Defender labels Wave 1. The asset rose from $0.98 to just under $1.70 in eight days. Wave 2 followed, pulling price back through what the analyst calls “Kumo Clouds,” a reference to the cloud region on Ichimoku-based analysis.
That corrective phase is now behind the asset. It has broken above those levels and, according to the analyst, is now engaged in Wave 3. Dark Defender described the current moment, writing, “The runway is behind us. We are now climbing with Wave 3.”
What the Chart Shows
The attached chart maps a five-wave Elliott Wave sequence on the daily timeframe. The structure is labeled in two layers. An inner white sequence counts waves (1) through (5) at a smaller degree. A larger blue sequence, labeled with parentheses, represents the macro move the analyst anticipates.
The chart places the current price near the 85.40% extension level at $1.5692, with the broader sequence just getting underway. From here, the analyst’s count projects a continuation through wave (3) toward the 361.80% Fibonacci extension at $7.0786. A corrective wave (4) then pulls back toward $4.1043, the 261.80% level. The final wave (5) targets the 361.80% extension at $18.2275.
Intermediate price targets on the chart include $2.9032 at the 200% level, $4.1043 at 261.80%, and $10.1101 at the 427.20% extension.
The Fibonacci Structure
Fibonacci extensions drive the entire price map. Dark Defender anchors his targets to these levels with precision. Each wave peak and trough in his projection lines up with a named extension, giving the analysis a defined and measurable structure rather than a general directional guess.
The 70.20% level at $1.4445 sits just below the current price, serving as nearby support. The 161.80% level at $1.8815, which the analyst has previously highlighted, represents the next significant resistance above.
The chart’s precision and the confidence in the language are notable. The Elliott Wave count is complete from the $0.98 base, and Wave 3 is the active call. The next major level to watch is $1.8815.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen defended the rise in U.S. Treasury yields, stating that this increase is a global phenomenon rather than unique to the United States, and does not warrant excessive concern. She partially attributed inflationary pressures to higher oil prices caused by the Iran conflict, and expects the energy shock to subside as hostilities ease. Yellen refuted the notion of an AI bubble, arguing that investments by major tech companies are grounded in solid business logic.
