MT newswire2026/10/05 12:1008:10 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ecarx (ECX) said Monday that it has closed its acquisition of the entire Flyme software business portfolio, including the Flyme Auto in-vehicle cockpit operating system and a cross-device Flyme operating system. The company said it paid 1.8 billion Chinese renminbi ($266 million) in cash, about 70% of which was funded by syndicated bank loans from Chinese commercial banks and roughly 30% from internal sources. After closing, Ecarx said it will provide the acquired business with 200 million renminbi to support its operations. Shares of Ecarx were up 5.8% pre-bell Monday.
