This Big Deal Opens Up XRP to PayPal, Venmo, Others
Vet, a prominent XRP Ledger validator, highlighted a major announcement by Paxos. The Paxos integration, he said, “opens up XRP services to a lot of institutions and their customers, like PayPal, Venmo, Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, and more.”
The observation captures something important: the scale of this integration is not immediately visible, but its reach is substantial.
Paxos Adds XRP to its Brokerage Stack
On October 7, Paxos added XRP to its Crypto Brokerage platform. The platform now supports XRP buying, selling, holding, deposits, and withdrawals. Partners can now offer these services through the same API they already use. Paxos operates as a national trust bank under the oversight of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, a designation it received in December 2025.
Paxos functions as the regulated back end for some of the largest names in consumer finance. PayPal, Venmo, Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, and Mercado Libre all use its infrastructure. Adding XRP to the platform puts the asset on the menu for all of these partners.
XRP’s Reach Gets Larger
XRP currently sits across more than 8.1 million wallets with a market cap of nearly $95 billion. Paxos had grown its supported asset list to 29 tokens as of June 2026, targeting much of the top 50 by market cap before year-end. XRP is the latest addition.
Every asset clears a structured compliance review before going live. XRP passed that review. Each partner institution can now decide whether to make XRP available to its own customers. The integration puts XRP on the table for all of them, drastically increasing its potential market.
The Community Responds
Reaction came quickly after the announcement. One observer pointed out that a single integration quietly reaching millions of customers across multiple major platforms is how genuine adoption takes hold, not through public awareness of the infrastructure beneath it.
Most of those customers will never know which infrastructure sits underneath their transactions, but he suggests XRP could play a significant role. He believes this is “how adoption actually happens.”

Spot gold: Range-bound fluctuations, sell on rallies, buy on dips
Reason for analysis: Spot gold rebounded near a two-month low, but the Federal Reserve meeting minutes show that most officials believe it may continue to raise interest rates this year. The strengthening of the US dollar and high US Treasury yields still exert pressure. The easing of tensions between the US and Iran has reduced some safe-haven demand. After technical indicators became oversold in the short term, there was a corrective rebound, but a reversal has not yet occurred, so the range-bound strategy is maintained. Key focus: US Treasury yields, US Dollar Index, geopolitical situation Resistance: 4200, 4230, 4270 Support: 4130, 4100, 4070

LME three-month copper rises 1.1% to $14,461.50 per ton
Analysts at ANZ Bank stated in a research report that rising energy prices and an overnight sell-off in the Nasdaq, which is dominated by tech stocks, have dampened investors’ risk appetite. However, copper prices remain near historic highs, supported by constrained supply. The analysts noted that workers at the Centinela copper mine in Chile are on strike, exacerbating supply limitations. They also indicated that market sentiment has turned relatively optimistic as Chinese traders return after a week-long holiday, providing some support for copper prices. According to ICE data, London Metal Exchange (LME) three-month copper futures rose by 1.1% to $14,461.50 per ton.
