Major cryptocurrencies Shiba Inu (SHIB), Zcash (ZEC), Stellar (XLM), and Solana (SOL) are facing crucial technical levels as price action becomes increasingly range-bound and volumes remain subdued.
Shiba Inu, Zcash, Stellar, Solana: Key Support and Resistance Zones in Focus
Shiba Inu (SHIB): Range-bound Below Key Averages
SHIB is trading at approximately $0.00000534, registering a decline on the day. The token continues to face resistance at its 200-day moving average, located near $0.00000565, with multiple failed breakout attempts since late September.
A recent dip pushed SHIB close to its 100-day average, which serves as support around $0.00000530. Buyers previously defended $0.00000510 twice this month, signaling this region’s strength as a short-term floor for the token’s price.
Volume on recent rebounds has remained muted, raising questions about the conviction of bulls. The relative strength index (RSI) sits near 45, suggesting neutral to slightly weak momentum, but not an oversold condition.
For now, SHIB fluctuates between $0.00000510 and $0.00000565, and a decisive daily close beyond this band is likely to establish the token’s next directional move.
Bullish momentum could return if SHIB closes above $0.00000565, while a drop below $0.00000530 would increase the risk of a slide toward $0.00000500 or even $0.00000480.
Zcash (ZEC): Bounces from Key Support
Zcash, a privacy-oriented cryptocurrency, trades near $1,262 after a sharp retreat from September’s local high. The coin fell from roughly $1,700 to a low of about $1,110 on October 7, before stabilizing above its 50-day moving average at $1,190.
This moving average has acted as critical support, with price action rebounding as buyers stepped in. Should this support fail, the next significant level lies at the 100-day average, currently near $980. The longer-term trend remains positive, with the 200-day average well below at $760.
The RSI for ZEC is close to 50, reflecting a neutral environment following the recent correction. Trading volumes have also thinned out, indicating a wait-and-see attitude in the market.
To change the short-term narrative, ZEC would need a sustained daily close above $1,350, which could open the way for a push toward $1,500. Resistance in the $1,300 to $1,350 area remains firm as sellers continue to defend this zone.
A failure to hold $1,190 could place bearish pressure on ZEC, with further downside possible toward $980.
Mini dictionary: Zcash (ZEC), launched in 2016, is a privacy-focused cryptocurrency offering optional shielded transactions using zero-knowledge proofs to enhance user anonymity.
| SHIB | $0.00000534 | $0.00000510 | $0.00000565 |
| ZEC | $1,262 | $1,190 | $1,350 |
| XLM | $0.1971 | $0.192–$0.193 | $0.210 |
| SOL | $108.91 | $107 | $115 |
Stellar (XLM): Guarding Moving-Average Cluster
Stellar Lumens, a network specializing in cross-border digital payments, is trading near $0.1971, down 3% on the session. XLM opened at $0.2030, encountered selling pressure near $0.2043, and now sits atop a cluster of tightly packed moving averages.
Both the 200-day and 100-day averages cluster between $0.192 and $0.193, acting as key support. This technical zone was briefly breached earlier this month, but buyers returned as the price rebounded from a low of $0.185.
XLM recently lost 17% in two weeks after peaking at $0.237 in late September. Volume has decreased, while the RSI hovers near 48. These metrics suggest a wait-and-see outlook among traders.
A close above $0.210 would signal renewed strength and could set the stage for a push toward $0.225, while a break below support risks a decline toward $0.185 and possibly $0.175.
Solana (SOL): At Crossroads of Support and Resistance
Solana, a blockchain platform known for its high-speed and low-cost transactions, is trading near $108.91, down about 2%. SOL opened at $111.21 and encountered resistance at $113.26, marking the second day of declines after a modest recovery attempt.
After peaking at almost $125 in September, SOL has dropped 13%, mainly due to a single large sell-off on October 6, which pushed the price to $105.50. The current price hovers just above the 100-day moving average around $107.50.
A breakdown below $107 could trigger further declines toward $100, with subsequent support in the $97 to $100 region. Conversely, a sustained daily close above $115 would indicate a shift to bullish momentum and could pave the way for a move to $120.
The RSI stands at 42, reflecting weak trading sentiment, but is not yet oversold. Volume is also lower, indicating limited participation following the recent sell-off.

Tech Stocks Plunge, Safe-Haven U.S. Treasury Trades Return? 10-Year U.S. Treasury Yield Drops to Three-Week Low
If AI capital expenditure slows down, a sudden halt in computing power construction will severely impact the supply chain while lowering market expectations for demand in electricity, commodities, and high-end hardware. This not only leads to a correction of overvalued assets, but also undermines growth expectations and inflation premiums, ultimately benefiting bonds. This logic is highly similar to the macroeconomic landscape during the bursting of the internet bubble in 2000, when the Nasdaq collapsed and the yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds dropped from a high of 6.5% to the 4% range.
