Major Bitcoin Bull Mark Yusko Predicts a 10x Increase in Bitcoin’s Price

Renowned investor and founder of Morgan Creek Capital Management, Mark Yusko, suggested that Bitcoin (BTC) could increase in value eight to tenfold in the coming years. Arguing that Bitcoin could eventually replace gold in the global financial system, Yusko considered a market capitalization of $15 trillion a very realistic target.

In an interview with the YouTube channel New Era Finance, Yusko, commenting on the future of Bitcoin, said that its current market capitalization of approximately $2 trillion indicates significant growth potential.

The investor stated that the total market value of gold is approximately $30 trillion, with $15 trillion of that amount used as a store of monetary value. Arguing that Bitcoin could eventually compete with gold in this area, Yusko said the following:

“I think Bitcoin could easily become a $15 trillion asset. That would mean an increase of about 8, or even 10 times from current levels. I think this could happen within the next 5, 8, or 10 years. I don’t know exactly when, but I absolutely believe it will happen.”

Yusko predicted that governments would eventually begin to consider Bitcoin as a reserve asset. He noted that central banks could allocate a portion of their reserves to Bitcoin while continuing to hold gold, suggesting that this development could accelerate institutional adoption.

Is a New Bull Market Beginning in Bitcoin?

Yusko, also evaluating Bitcoin’s short-term outlook, said he believes the market has emerged from a downtrend and is entering a new accumulation phase.

The investor noted that Bitcoin had formed a double bottom around $60,000 and that trading volume had increased at these levels, indicating that selling pressure was weakening.

Yusko stated that higher lows and higher highs have begun to form recently, arguing that this could be one of the first signals of a new bull market. However, the investor added that he does not expect the rise to immediately turn into a parabolic movement.

Yusko stated that Bitcoin might first go through a gradual recovery period, and predicted a strong upward movement after the next halving in 2029.

Yusko also cited network value models based on Metcalfe’s Law, stating that Bitcoin’s current fair value is approximately $105,000. During the interview, the investor noted that Bitcoin was trading around $85,000, arguing that the price remaining below the level indicated by the model could create accumulation opportunities for long-term investors.

“Inflation and Increased Money Supply Could Support Bitcoin”

According to Yusko, one of the most important factors supporting Bitcoin’s long-term bull run will be the erosion of the purchasing power of fiat currencies.

The investor argued that approximately $10 trillion in money was created in the first 245 years after the founding of the United States, and that a similar magnitude of monetary expansion has occurred in the last five years, claiming that the increase in the money supply has strengthened demand for scarce assets such as gold and Bitcoin.

Yusko, noting that gold has been used as a store of value for thousands of years, said that Bitcoin could also play a similar role thanks to its limited supply and decentralized nature.
