The Dow Jones opened up 0.46%, the Nasdaq fell 1.17%, and the S&P 500 fell 0.41%. Leading tech stock Super Micro Computer dropped 5.4%, Intel dropped 4.6%, and NVIDIA dropped 2.71%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index fell 0.25%, Alibaba fell 1.73%, and Baidu fell 1.72%.
