Major altcoins XRP, Shiba Inu (SHIB), Solana (SOL), and Tron (TRX) continue to face pressure as they trade around critical support and resistance levels, with recent price action highlighting persistent negative momentum across the sector.
XRP, Shiba Inu, Solana and Tron: Key support and resistance zones to watch
XRP hovers beneath major resistance
XRP is currently priced at $1.29 following a steady decline through October. After surging in August from the $1 mark to a high near $1.70, XRP experienced a failed push in September, stalling near $1.65 before entering a prolonged downtrend.
The token now sits below both the black 200-day moving average at $1.375 and the orange average at $1.335, which are providing significant resistance. Additional moving averages between $1.38 and $1.41 further reinforce a challenging recovery path for buyers.
Immediate support lies at the recent $1.25 low, where buyers intervened last week. If this level fails, downside targets include $1.15 and $1.07, a price range that previously acted as a floor during the summer months.
XRP faces stacked resistance from multiple moving averages, making any rapid recovery difficult. The $1.25 support level remains pivotal for its next move.
Trading volume has eased, with neither sellers nor buyers showing conviction. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is near 40, indicating weak momentum but showing potential for a short-term rebound. Bulls are now eyeing a resurgence above $1.335 and then $1.375. A close above the 200-day average could mark the end of the decline, while a drop below $1.25 may sharpen losses.
| XRP | $1.29 | $1.335, $1.375 | $1.25 |
| SHIB | $0.00000499 | $0.00000520, $0.00000545 | $0.00000480 |
| SOL | $104.43 | $108, $109 | $98, $100 |
| TRX | $0.3314 | $0.333, $0.334 | $0.3285 |
Shiba Inu struggles at key support
Shiba Inu is changing hands at $0.00000499, testing the round $0.000005 mark. The token fell from its September peak near $0.00000625, with every attempt at recovery halted by the black 200-day moving average at $0.00000560.
Since early October, SHIB has slipped under a cluster of downward-sloping moving averages, now found between $0.00000526 and $0.00000545. This cluster represents a firm resistance zone for any potential rally.
Support is established at $0.00000480, which recently prompted two rebounds. If breached, the next significant levels are $0.00000440 and then the July low at $0.00000405. SHIB’s momentum remains negative, reflected in the low volume and an RSI also near 40. A daily close below $0.00000480 would likely signal further downside.
Tron trades in a narrow range
TRX is currently trading at $0.3314 after declining from its late May peak near $0.375. Since then, the token has oscillated between $0.32 and $0.35, pointing to a prolonged period of consolidation.
Both the orange and blue moving averages, positioned around $0.333 to $0.334, are serving as resistance. The price currently sits just below these lines, with shorter-term averages also capping upswings. The key support is the black 200-day moving average at $0.3285, a threshold that recently triggered buyer interest.
If $0.3285 breaks, TRX may retreat to $0.320 and then the June low at $0.315. The RSI, at about 45, suggests a neutral stance, while falling volume underscores the lack of decisive action by either side. TRX remains rangebound, awaiting a clear directional move.

Solana buyers defend critical levels
Solana is priced at $104.43, having quickly retreated from its recent high near $125. After rallying from around $75 in August to a September peak well above $110, bearish pressure has since dominated.
The recent drop pushed SOL below the green and blue moving averages at $109 and $106. These resistance levels have kept the price capped during multiple bounce attempts. The $100 area, reinforced by the orange moving average and the black 200-day average at $98, serves as immediate support. Last week, SOL’s dip to the $100 region drew buyers.
A close below $98 could start a move toward $92 and $88, while a rebound above $108 would suggest stronger buyer momentum. The overall trend remains up in the longer term, supported by rising moving averages, but the short-term outlook remains cautious as momentum indicators hover near oversold levels.
Solana trades near strong support at $98 to $100, following a sharp correction from September highs. Ongoing attempts to regain momentum have so far stalled below $108.
