- ** Honeywell International (HON.O) shares rose about 0.9% on Wednesday, with the company set to release its quarterly financial report before the market opens on Thursday

** According to London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) data, the industrial group is expected to report adjusted earnings per share of $2.17 in the third quarter, down about 61.6% year-on-year; revenue is forecast at $5.01 billion, a decline of 51.9% compared to the third quarter of 2025

** LSEG data shows that Honeywell (HON), when announcing its second quarter results, missed analyst expectations for earnings per share (EPS) for the first time since at least the first quarter of 2021

** On July 23, HON released its first independent quarterly report after completing a three-way split. Although it missed analyst expectations, demand for its industrial and building automation products remained robust, leading the company to increase its full-year profit target (link)

** Of the 26 analysts covering HON, 16 recommend a “Buy” or “Strong Buy” rating, while the remaining 10 advise “Hold”

** The 12-month median target price is $262.50, down 3.5% from three months ago (LSEG)

** According to Trade Alert, HON options suggest the stock may swing 5.0% by this Friday (either up or down); this is lower than the stock’s average move of 5.3% on earnings release day over the past eight quarters

** So far this year, HON shares have risen a total of 5.2%, while the Dow Jones index .DJI is up 9.9% year-to-date
