International oil prices rose on October 22. At the close of trading that day, the New York Mercantile Exchange's November delivery light crude oil futures price increased by $2.32, closing at $99.47 per barrel, a rise of 2.39%. Over the same period, December delivery London Brent crude oil futures rose by $4.35, finally settling at $113.17 per barrel, an increase of 4.0%.
