  1. Although analysts have consistently emphasized that gold’s long-term investment value remains unchanged, its price has fallen sharply from $5,600 per ounce at the start of the year, recently dropping below $4,000 per ounce. This reflects increasing market caution towards gold.
  2. Rob Haworth, Senior Investment Strategist at Bank of America Wealth Management, pointed out that the US-Iran conflict needs to end for gold prices to return to $5,000 per ounce. Meanwhile, rising bond yields, a stronger US dollar, and increased demand for liquidity are all undermining gold's traditional appeal as a safe haven.
