Starknet’s $0.05 Line: The Level That Decides the Next Move
Starknet spent more than a week pinned near $0.041. Then it broke. In a single weekend, the token cleared $0.05, touched a five-month high of $0.056, and pushed its market cap back above $400 million. Trading volume exploded 321% to $186 million. Open interest rose, derivatives volume climbed 76%, and STRK returned to CoinMarketCap’s top 100. That kind of move gets attention. But the real story isn’t the rally itself. It’s what comes next. On October 2, Starknet announced it would cover bridge fees for the first 100 Bitcoin moved onto its chain through strkBTC, a synthetic asset backed one-to-one by Bitcoin. The incentive turned a roadmap item into something traders could actually use. strkBTC holders can stake for yield, provide liquidity on Ekubo, or pledge it as collateral to borrow USDC on Vesu. The pitch is simple: bring dormant Bitcoin capital into Starknet’s DeFi ecosystem and turn it into recurring on-chain activity. Traders treated the launch as confirmation that Bitcoin integration had moved from concept to production. Spot buyers stepped in. A wallet linked to Quanterty bought 17.4 million STRK worth $767,000. Another user, Pumpnomics, reported purchasing $740,000 worth of STRK over the previous week. On October 4, spot netflow fell to negative $731,000, meaning more tokens left exchanges than entered. That pattern is consistent with accumulation, though withdrawals alone don’t prove fresh buying. The derivatives market told a similar story. Open interest rose 4% to $86.5 million. Derivatives volume jumped 76%. Together, those numbers suggest more traders are taking positions and holding them, not just flipping spot. But momentum indicators are flashing a warning. STRK’s 14-day RSI reached 74.60, well above the 70 threshold that often signals an overheated move. The MACD formed a bullish crossover and rose to 0.0047, which supports the improving price structure, but RSI at this level raises the odds of a pullback if spot volume fades. Then there’s the unlock. On October 15, 127 million STRK tokens will unlock for early contributors and investors. At current prices, that’s roughly $7.4 million worth of new supply hitting the market. Unlocked tokens aren’t always sold. But they add supply at a moment when the rally depends on fresh demand. CoinMarketCap lists STRK’s maximum supply as uncapped, which means the circulating count can keep growing for years. For the price to hold its gains, network usage and strkBTC adoption need to grow faster than the supply does. The technical picture is clear. Support sits at $0.05, the level that flipped from resistance to support after the breakout. Below that, the old consolidation zone at $0.041 comes back into view. Resistance is $0.065, the May high. A sustained close above $0.065 would mark the highest level since February and confirm the breakout. A decisive drop below $0.05 would weaken the setup and shift attention back to the $0.041 range. Bulls need to defend $0.05. That’s the line. If buyers hold it through the unlock and spot volume stays elevated, a push toward $0.065 becomes a realistic next step. If $0.05 breaks, the rally loses its structural foundation, and the overbought RSI gives sellers a reason to press. There’s also a broader question about the narrative. STRK is not a privacy coin. The renewed interest comes from privacy applications built on Starknet, like private swaps and perpetuals. Whether that interest translates into lasting token demand remains unproven. The strkBTC fee subsidy is a stronger catalyst because it connects directly to usage. But it’s still an incentive program. If the subsidy ends and Bitcoin flows stop, the demand picture changes. The v0.14.4 upgrade deployed on October 5 focused on internal proof limits rather than user-facing cost cuts. Baseline transaction costs shifted by less than 1%. That’s infrastructure work, not a retail catalyst. For traders, the setup is straightforward. Watch $0.05. Watch the October 15 unlock. Watch whether derivatives volume stays elevated or fades. A breakout above $0.065 with strong spot volume would confirm the bull case. A breakdown below $0.05 would invalidate it. Everything else is noise. The next two weeks will tell whether Starknet’s Bitcoin push is a real demand driver or just another narrative that fades when incentives dry up. $STRK #Starknet #STRK #Crypto #Layer2

$GRVT Crypto Market: Recovery or Bigger Move Ahead? 🚀 The crypto market is showing renewed strength, but traders should not confuse a recovery with a confirmed bull breakout. Bitcoin (BTC) is trading around the $86K area, after briefly testing close to $87K. The key resistance zone is $87K–$87.5K. A clean breakout above this area could open the door toward $90K, while $85K–$85.5K remains an important short-term support zone. Market structure: Total crypto market capitalization is around $2.9T, while Bitcoin dominance remains near 59%. This shows that capital is still heavily concentrated in BTC rather than aggressively rotating across the entire altcoin market. Ethereum (ETH) is trading around $2.7K and continues to participate in the recovery. Institutional interest is also improving, with renewed ETF inflows supporting the broader market. Citi recently raised its 12-month BTC target to $113K and ETH target to $3,028, citing stronger crypto activity and renewed ETF demand. Altcoins: The picture is mixed. ADA, FET, STRK and several Layer-1/AI-related assets are showing strength, while meme coins have recently lagged. Current sector data shows Layer-2, AI, Privacy and Layer-1 sectors outperforming, while meme coins remain weaker. Derivatives: Leverage is becoming important again. BTC funding remains positive across major exchanges, while open interest is substantial. This indicates growing long-side positioning, but excessive leverage could also increase the risk of sharp liquidation moves if BTC suddenly reverses. Macro factor: Softer U.S. jobs data has reduced expectations of an immediate October Fed rate hike, giving risk assets some breathing room. However, elevated Treasury yields, inflation concerns and oil prices remain major risks for crypto. 🔎 My Market Take The current structure is cautiously bullish, but BTC needs to reclaim and hold $87K–$87.5K for stronger confirmation. If BTC breaks higher with healthy volume and ETF/institutional demand continues, the next major psychological target could be $90K. If BTC fails at resistance and loses $85K, a deeper pullback could develop. For altcoins, the best signal would be a combination of BTC stability + falling BTC dominance + increasing altcoin volume. Until then, selective positioning looks safer than chasing every pump. ⚠️ Key things to watch: BTC $87.5K breakout, $85K support, ETF flows, Treasury yields, funding rates, open interest and BTC dominance. Bottom line: Crypto momentum is improving, but the market is still at a decision point. The next BTC breakout or rejection could determine whether October develops into a broader market rally or another consolidation phase. 📊 $BTC $ETH $SOL

Starknet has returned to traders’ radar after $STRK recorded one of its strongest weekly advances this year. The token trades near $0.05843 after gaining 8.59% over 24 hours and 47.65% across seven days. Trading volume has reached $166.2 million, while market capitalization stands near $433.7 million. Significantly, the rally coincides with rising derivatives activity, new Bitcoin incentives, and another Starknet network upgrade. However, $STRK now faces resistance around $0.0600, making the next price move increasingly important. $STRK Price Breakout Brings $0.0609 Into Focus $STRK established a base around $0.0380 to $0.0390 before buyers gradually regained control. Higher lows followed, strengthening the four-hour market structure. Momentum accelerated after $STRK broke above the important $0.04945 level. Consequently, buyers pushed the token rapidly toward the $0.0600 region. between $0.0600 and $0.0609. A four-hour close above $0.0609 could confirm another bullish breakout. However, momentum indicators suggest traders should watch for consolidation. Stochastic RSI sits near 80 after $STRK’s steep advance. The first support appears around $0.0560 to $0.0570. Additionally, the $0.0520 to $0.0540 range provides another potential support area. Related: Cardano Price Prediction: Will ADA’s Bull Pennant Breakout Push It Toward $0.30? The larger bullish structure remains intact while $STRK holds above $0.04945. Losing that former resistance would weaken the current recovery structure. Open Interest Signals Renewed Speculation Derivatives markets also show a major change in trader participation. Starknet open interest has climbed to approximately $102.05 million. That marks a sharp recovery from the $30 million to $50 million range seen through much of 2026. Hence, leveraged traders appear increasingly willing to take positions around $STRK.
