U.S. ISM non-manufacturing PMI expected to rise slightly, Powell to speak
According to Jinshi, the U.S. ISM non-manufacturing PMI will be released at 22:00 Beijing time, and is expected to rise slightly in March from February. Federal Reserve Chairman Powell will deliver a speech at 00:10 Beijing time on the 4th. Bas Kooijman, CEO and asset manager at DHF Capital S.A., said Powell had recently signaled he would delay a rate cut and market participants expected him to remain cautious. Powell is expected to weigh the prospect of future rate adjustments against current economic conditions, a situation that could support a stronger dollar.
