Ledn Co-Founder: Before Bitcoin, My Most Successful Investment Was Shorting the Bolivar
Odaily Planet Daily News Ledn co-founder Mauricio di Bartolomeo stated that before discovering Bitcoin, his most successful investment experience was shorting the Venezuelan bolivar when it rapidly depreciated against the US dollar. He pointed out that as the US dollar depreciates against Bitcoin, Bitcoin holders can now adopt a similar strategy by borrowing US dollars and holding more valuable Bitcoin. Through Bitcoin-backed loans, investors can effectively use stronger currencies as collateral. Di Bartolomeo believes this is similar to mortgages backed by real estate, stocks, and gold, creating a virtuous cycle. He also mentioned that the cryptocurrency lending market is growing, with Ledn being a leader in the centralized finance lending sector. (Cointelegraph)
