BNB Chain has released its 2026 technology roadmap, aiming to achieve transaction speeds exceeding 20,000 TPS and sub-second finality. The plan includes a dual-client strategy, conflict-free parallel execution, a transaction framework supporting compliant privacy, and an AI Agent payment abstraction layer. In addition, BNB Chain plans to launch a next-generation transaction chain between 2026 and 2028, targeting approximately 1 million TPS and near-instant confirmation within 150 milliseconds.
