Glonghui Jan 15|TSMC (TSM.US) shares have surged more than 6%, reaching a new all-time high. Its total market capitalization has surpassed $1.8 trillion, overtaking Broadcom and ranking sixth among US stocks. On the news front, TSMC's earnings report showed that fourth-quarter net profit grew by a substantial 35% year-on-year, setting a record high and exceeding market expectations. The gross margin for the fourth quarter reached 62.3%, far surpassing market forecasts. TSMC has also issued a strong guidance for 2026, projecting a further 30% increase in revenue. Analysts point out that TSMC's strong Q4 results and 2026 revenue guidance clearly signal that the artificial intelligence boom will continue.
