U.S. stocks open higher, Dow Jones up 0.14%, Meta Platforms rises about 10%
ChainCatcher News, according to Golden Ten Data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.14%, the S&P 500 Index increased by 0.18%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell by 0.13%. Meta Platforms (META.O) rose by about 10% as its fourth-quarter performance, first-quarter guidance, and full-year capital expenditures all exceeded market expectations. Microsoft (MSFT.O) dropped by more than 8% due to concerns over slowing cloud business growth and record-high capital expenditures.
