Glonghui, January 30|Wells Fargo stated in a filing submitted on Thursday that CEO Charlie Scharf's compensation for 2025 will increase by 28% compared to 2024, reaching $40 million. The bank's board of directors said the raise was due to Scharf's leadership in resolving major compliance issues, ending several significant regulatory penalties, and driving the company's profit and revenue growth.
