Trimble released its annual revenue and profit forecasts on Tuesday, which exceeded Wall Street estimates, benefiting from growing demand in the construction, transportation, and other industries for its navigation products and bundled software solutions.

Shares of the Westminster, Colorado-based company rose 3.4% in pre-market trading.

Trimble is shifting from a hardware-driven model to a software services-led model, aiming to achieve stable recurring revenue even during economic downturns.

The company has also benefited from its "Connected Scale" strategy, which integrates hardware, software, and cloud solutions across architecture, geospatial, and transportation sectors.

According to data from the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG):

  • Trimble expects total revenue of $3.81 billion to $3.91 billion in 2026, with the midpoint above analysts’ forecast of $3.83 billion
  • First-quarter revenue is expected to be in the range of $893 million to $918 million, with the midpoint higher than the estimated $897.5 million
  • Annual adjusted earnings per share are projected to be $3.42 to $3.62, with the midpoint above the estimated $3.46

Widespread adoption of the company’s positioning and correction services, digital construction tools, and artificial intelligence services by customers has also driven growth in recurring revenue.

As of the end of the fourth quarter, annual recurring revenue grew 6% year-on-year to $2.39 billion.

Total revenue for the fourth quarter was $969.8 million, beating the forecast of $950.8 million; adjusted earnings per share were $1, above the estimate of $0.96.
