The total market value of RWA surpasses 65 billion dollars, with Ethereum leading at a 33% market share.
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, as traditional asset management companies accelerate bringing tokenized assets on-chain, the total market value of real-world assets (RWA) has surpassed $65 billion, an increase of about 44% since the beginning of the year. Ethereum holds around 33% of the market share, maintaining its position as the default platform for institutional tokenization. Provenance blockchain accounts for about 27% of the market share, while BNB Chain, XRP Ledger, and Solana each account for about 6%.
The distributed market structure indicates that there is not yet a clear winner in the RWA sector. Different chains set themselves apart in terms of compliance tools, settlement finality, and cost structure, leaving significant room for market share movements. Since RWA capital is highly sticky, blockchains that secure institutional partnerships early will gain lasting advantages.
