Bitget CEO: Under the sudden changes in the Middle East situation, U.S. stock tokens saw a 10-fold increase in weekend trading volume
Odaily reported that Bitget CEO Gracy Chen posted on the X platform, noting that the Middle East situation changed dramatically this weekend. When traditional US stock markets closed and global traders sought an outlet, Bitget US stock tokens (rToken), as RWA assets supporting 24/7 trading, met the overflow in trading demand. Data shows that rToken trading volume over the weekend reached 10 times that of the previous week, approximately 2.2 times higher than the average weekend volume in June. Among them, rNVDA, rMU, and rGOOGL ranked in the top three for trading volume, and the weekend US stock trading activity of the platform's VIP users was higher than the average user activity.
Gracy Chen emphasized that although the absolute value of weekend US stock token trading volume is still at an early stage, moments of market volatility have already highlighted the importance of 24/7 trading.
