Bitget staking and borrowing now supports 39 additional stock tokens as collateral
Odaily reported, according to the official announcement, that Bitget’s staking and borrowing section has added support for 39 stock tokens (rToken) as collateral assets. The newly launched targets include rAMD, rSMH, rARM, and rSKHY, covering popular US stocks and ETFs, spanning semiconductors, finance, healthcare, and energy sectors.
Users holding relevant stock tokens can now use them as collateral to borrow mainstream assets such as USDT and USDC, unlocking capital liquidity without selling their holdings. The web version of the function is now live, and the app version is expected to launch within the week. For specific collateral parameters and more details, please refer to the Bitget official platform.
It is understood that rToken, identified by the letter r plus the stock code (for example, Nvidia is rNVDA), is issued by Bitget’s licensed RWA Protocol Reality and connects directly to global liquidity pools such as Nasdaq and NYSE through compliant broker Alpaca. Features include: 1:1 reserve of underlying assets held and custodied by licensed institutions, stock dividends distributed in token form at a 1:1 ratio, support for corporate actions (such as stock splits) with synchronous mapping, and positions can be used as unified account collateral and joint margin for U-denominated contracts, allowing users to flexibly manage funds while holding global stock assets.
