According to Golden Ten Data on July 15, a global fund manager survey by Bank of America found that fund managers' bullishness towards the US stock market has reached its highest level since December 2024. The survey shows that a net 24% of respondents believe US stocks will outperform other regions, which is the third-highest allocation weight to US stocks in the past five years. In contrast, investors have reduced their allocation to UK equities. Fund managers' confidence in London-listed equities has dropped to its lowest point since August 2020. Compared with other regions, the UK stock market has shown weak performance so far this year. Year to date, the UK's FTSE 100 Index in London has risen by 5.7%, while the S&P 500 Index has gained more than 10%.
