The US Senate unanimously opposes a pardon for FTX founder SBF
Odaily reported that the US Senate unanimously passed a non-binding resolution, clearly stating that FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried should not receive a presidential pardon or sentence reduction under any circumstances.
The resolution was promoted by Senators Cynthia Lummis and Ruben Gallego. SBF was convicted on 7 charges related to the collapse of FTX in November 2023, and is currently expected to be released around 2044 at the earliest. US President Trump stated in January this year that he has no plans to pardon SBF. (CoinDesk)
