According to Odaily, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on X that exchanges are also betting that institutions will use new futures contracts to hedge against potential losses related to sports. FutureSports co-founder Leigh Taylforth stated that potential participants such as stadium owners and operators, sports sponsors and endorsers, insurance companies, sportswear manufacturers, and league broadcasting partners have a strong demand for these unique new contracts as hedging tools.
