Enova Withdraws Regulatory Applications for Grasshopper Bancorp Acquisition, Reaffirms Outlook

06:01 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Enova International (ENVA) withdrew its applications with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for the proposed acquisition of Grasshopper Bancorp. Enova CEO Steve Cunningham said the company chose to withdraw the regulatory filings after reviewing the acquisition process and concluded that pursuing bank status was not necessary to support its long-term growth. Enova reaffirmed its Q3 and full-year 2026 guidance. For Q3, the company continues to expect revenue growth of approximately 25% and adjusted EPS growth of approximately 30% compared with a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expect non-GAAP EPS of $4.42 on sales of $1 billion. For full-year 2026, Enova continues to expect revenue growth of 20% to 25% and adjusted EPS growth of 30% to 35% compared with a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expect non-GAAP EPS of $17.28 on sales of $3.86 billion. As of June 30, Enova had $218 million available for share repurchases under its senior note covenants and $349 million available under its current board authorization, which expires June 30 next year, the company said. Shares of the company were down 17.5% in pre-bell activity on Tuesday.
